Frequently Asked Questions

How do you become a VIP member?

VIP members are people with whom we (Su & Kay) have built a relationship with and/or established trust with via frequent communication, regular purchases and long-standing support. Our VIPs are appointed at our discretion, and therefore, it is not a benefit that is readily available to everyone. We offer specific benefits based on established trust, and so
these requirements must be met for said benefits to be obtained.

Do we do repairs on non-boho items?

We can and have done repairs on items foreign to our business, but it cannot be ensured that we will be able to fix the item. Should you want to try your hand at getting a repair like this, we recommend that you contact us via e-mail or WhatsApp with a picture and description of what you need done so that we can let you know whether we are able to do so
or not.

Do we charge for repairs?

We do not charge for repairs on our items, given that it was purchased within the span of 6 months. Should you need, and we be able to repair a non-boho item, we do charge a flat fee
of R200. This will be applicable should you drop off and pick up your items. Should you require collection and/or delivery, courier costs will be applicable. Payment will be made
before the item is received back, and we will give you picture evidence that the piece was repaired to ensure transparency on both sides.

Can we make something with the pieces you give us?

Absolutely! Feel free to provide us with pieces like crystals or charms that you would like us to use in a commission. We are also able to upcycle old pieces of jewellery that you may want to revamp.

How does sizing work?

Our clothing is handmade, so they do not conform to general sizing structures. Each piece is individually measured in cm, and you should not purchase any of our clothing without checking the individual sizing charts, as extra costs can be applied given that you do not do so.

Are all the items in our store handmade?

While most of the pieces in our store are made by hand, some pieces are made by external manufacturers. You can tell which pieces are handmade by the tags on the product page.
We will never claim that something is handmade if it is not; however, anything in our one&only collection can be assumed to be handmade.

If I RSVP to an event but don’t show up, can I still collect my gift?

No, our gifts are strictly made for the guests who attend. If you RSVP and a personalised pair of earrings is made for you and you don’t attend, they will be given away or sold. This applies to VIP customers as well.

Are all our metal jewellery pieces made with stainless steel?

No, while we always try to use non-tarnishing stainless steel, that is not always possible. None of our items contain nickel, in case you worry about a nickel allergy, but not all of our items are stainless steel. Rest assured that we will always inform you of the metals used in
each piece on the product page.

Does our online store offer our complete product range?

No, we have a showroom that contains some exclusive in-store items; however, these items can be purchased via a custom order should it be requested. These items can mostly be found on our social media.

Can our clothing be washed in a regular washing machine?

It is not recommended as our clothing items are delicately made, and we cannot ensure that the garment will be unharmed, given the roughness of the standard washing machine. We generally recommend that you use lukewarm water and a sunlight bar to gently clean the
garment.

Are all our products locally made?

No, some of the items in our store are externally sourced outside of SA. Everything in our crystal collections and one&only collections is locally made, though, and everything that is locally made will be stated as such on the respective product page.
