Green garnet

I was designed around a contradiction — and the truth that most interesting people are one too. My feather has been worn across Native American, Egyptian and Celtic traditions as a symbol of freedom, spiritual ascent and the courage to leave the ground. My turtle has crossed every ocean and outlived almost everything, a symbol of endurance, wisdom and the long, patient view. My green garnets — one of the rarest colours in the garnet family — sit between them like a forest that belongs to both the sky above it and the earth beneath. Wear me on the days you are not sure whether you want to fly or simply stay and take root. I was made for exactly that feeling.
