Labradorite

Labradorite

Labradorite on a handmade wax cord — dark and unassuming until the light hits, then alive with flashes of blue, gold and green from within. A men's bracelet for someone who doesn't need to announce themselves. The stone does it for them.

MY STORY

Inuit legend holds that labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the aurora borealis — a warrior struck the cliffs and freed the lights trapped inside. The phenomenon is real: labradorescence is caused by light refracting between microscopic layers within the stone. Made by hand, tied once, worn by those who carry more than they show.
